Thankful that I was a Sig Ep during an era that was so meaningful to me.  Believe Joe Cochrane said he doubted he would have made it through withough this association.  I echo that statement 4-fold.  Regret that I haven't been able to maintain closer contact and attend reunions, etc, but I still have nothing but fond memories of 2512 Clark Ave and so many personal "happenings" during my years there.   Good news is that I have nothing but great memories about my time and all the brothers during my time there.  Too bad that we only get to go through life once.   May God bestow his richest blessings on each and every one of you. And special thanks to Gray for all his work on keeping this siet alive and well-he is a saint.

I stumbled upon this site when I was looking for Don Moss\'s Pat, Charles Jamerson\'s Frankie, and Freddie Wilson\'s Gloria.  It brought back great memories of the house with the red door and the good times there as well as the brothers who serenaded me at St. Mary\'s.  Whatever happened to "Little Red Ridinghood" and "Minnie the Mermaid?" Please keep on keeping on and my best to all.

My name is Mark Holcomb, I am a newly initiated SigEp, Fall 2011 Pledge Class. I found much enjoyment in reading everything on this sight; I learned a lot from the contents of this site also. It\'s great to be a part of the brotherhood and I\'d be very interested in talking to any alumni anytime.HFF,Mark Holcomb

Brothers; my guest , my wife Phyllis , was duly impressed by the reunion event in Hickory last weekend. Thanks for your typical good behavior at gatherings like this ! She was greatly impressed with Frank's storytelling and the brotherhood's singing. She loves to be serenaded ! The gathered brotherhood called her on the phone in Louisville in 1962 and sang to her after we were pinned. (never to be forgotten). Neither will last weeken's reunion be forgotten ! We'll love and cherish the memory of you !

Quick update! Retired now so plenty of time to enjoy visits from all of you. The Boles just were here and I posted a couple of pics. Billy looks great even with the odd color hair! Still knows how to drink and laugh. and he remembers plenty about the "hut" and washing dishes!

This site will prove to be a great reminder of many wonderful memories. Joe Cochrane, thanks for the loan of the trousers with the silent zipper! Interesting date @ Ocean Drive 1954 after aTruby's party.

Greetings Brothers ! Thanks to Sid for setting up this site as a stimulant to my old brain. The fond memories do flood back with a little help from your brothers. I think I'll send Gray a story or two to spice up the memory board. Would love to hear from anyone who wants to relive my years at NCS spanning 1958 - 1963.

I had a long conversation with Gray Steifel this AM in which I learned about this website. My hat is off to Gray for all his work in establishing the site. I hope to hear from any "Beta BRother" who has the time and inclination. Life was good behind "The Red Door". I seriously doubt that I would have been able to get through NC State without SIg Ep support. And I am not referring to just the old exams that were in the closet.

Took me a little longer to get out. Thanks to Gray for all the work. I have been sending stuff, but had not signed the guest book until now. Realized when I read the comments that I should throw in my two cents. Great times.... and most of mine and Katie's lifelong friends save a few from high school (some of which became Sig Eps) are from the house. Thanks immeasurably to George and Carolyn Moretz for hosting all the "Big Chill" reunions.

Like I said Gray, thanks for all the hard work here. Received my new computer today and my personal guru got me on line. Could not figure why I could not register. For those who knew, I have a new knee and am doing well--went for my first solo today and with another month of therapy should be good to go. Thanks for all the messages and prayers. WHAT

Excellent work, Gray. I will provide a profile, some photos, etc., when I have a chance. If my memory serves me, what about Kitt or Kidd Brewer's for a special place. What a blast! (Do I have that right?)

Our Pledge Class of '63 was the next to the last class at Clark Ave. What I remember most: - Beer machine - Farmers party - Beer hockey games - Football with coats and ties - Beer Kegs in Ridick Stadium - Mudcat at his wild Friday night rides - Hell Week (navy beans)

Great job Gray! I think I still have some 8mm movies shot during parties in the basement. Can you do film clips on the website? If so, I will get them transferred to a disc.
